Halloween is just two week away and the clown hysteria that has taken place the past couple of weeks has caused quite a riot for this year’s Halloween Season. The chaos has caused Target to pull Clown Masks from their shelves.
A media representative of Target told ABC News, “We had a few masks in stores, which we began to pull last week. We also have edited down our assortment online. You’ll still find clown masks there, but we made the decision to pull back on the number.”
After numerous clown sightings throughout the country, just in time for Halloween, the rep said the decision was made out of “sensitivity to the issue at hand.” Target did not report on whether the clown mask sales had increased or decreased after news of the sightings took place.
