Horror Author Stephen King Receives National Medal of Arts

On Thursday, September 10th President Barack Obama presented horror, supernatural and suspense writer, Stephen King with the prestige of the National Medal of Arts. Mr. King was one of twenty one honorees who won the award for having, “helped Americans connect and understand each other a little better through the arts and humanities.”

Stephen King is an award winning author with over fifty novels under his belt, not to mention short stories, teleplays and more. Let’s take a look back into past, into the many decades of King, by showcasing a few fan favorites.
