It’s the day after Halloween and tons of tummies are feeling the wrath of all that candy collected last night. If you have more candy than you think you’ll be able to finish, check out the list of these organizations throughout the U.S. that are taking candy donations!
Hannah’s Club – Manhattan, NY
According to the NY Times, the club located at the Trevor Day School in Manhattan collected 50 pounds of candy in 2015 and donated it to a local chapter of Ronald McDonald House.
Brightside Dental
There are a chain of 13 offices in the metro Detroit area and various locations. The dental chain collects candy for military care packages and reached over 5,000 pounds of candy last year.
Kool Smiles
This nationwide dental chain provides kids with a stuffed animal, a monster dump truck or another toy when they bring in 25 pieces of wrapped candy.
Soldiers’ Angels
This national network features a number of donation locations where candy can be dropped off. The treats are sometimes used for soldier care packages.
Operation Gratitude
A support-the-troops organization features different donation spots where candy can be dropped off. Some treats will be packaged away for soldiers who are overseas.
