About
In 1946, Howard and Elizabeth Kroul married and began raising their five kids on a family farm south of Mount Vernon. They raised corn and soybeans as well as cattle and pigs. Their family values and strong work ethic were instilled in their children and a legacy was born. The Kroul family prides themselves on practicing sustainable farming methods, like utilizing cover crops and natural fertilizers. We try to be true stewards of the land!
Our Products
Today, Lizzy and Howard’s son, John, and his wife Kaylene, have transformed the farm into a modern marketplace for seasonal produce. We have pumpkins in the fall, flowers in the spring, produce in the summer, and firewood and eggs all year long. Our Practices
We work hard to grow our produce sustainably by implementing crop rotation, and using advanced mulching techniques and homegrown compost to help us avoid chemical growing aids. Enjoy the fruits of our labor by signing up for our 2022 CSA program today!
